Best Mechanical Keyboard under 3000

If you’re looking for a new mechanical keyboard and you’re on a tight budget, you might be surprised to find that you can get the best mechanical keyboard under 3000.

We have made a list of 5 of our favourite budget mechanical keyboards to help you find the very best mechanical keyboard under 3000 INR.

Let’s jump into the list.

 1. Amkette EvoFox Katana

The first mechanical keyboard on the list is the EvoFox Katana Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. It is a fully programmable keyboard with 100% Anti Ghosting Keys.

The mechanical keys are Outemu blue switch keys which are clones of the popular Cherry MX blue keys. keys are light and on the press, the clicking noise is very satisfying.

All the keys are individually backlit. It’s a rainbow colour and not RGB, so you cannot have a single colour in all switches. But there are 9 LED effects. One small issue is that the LED effects do not work on the “2” key in the Numpad.

The best part about this keyboard is its software which can be found on the Amkette website. You can control light colour, speed, effects and macros.

The whole keyboard itself is made of plastic and has a brushed metal texture. It is equipped with a detachable wrist rest for added comfort.

The cable is braided and you’ll also get a cable organizer.

The keys are laser engraved and these are double-shot so this will not fade away very soon even after repeated usage.

2. Cosmic Byte CB-GK-16

Yet another interesting and very affordable best Mechanical keyboard under 3000 INR. The Cosmic Byte CB-GK-16 keyboard is a compact, tenkeyless layout that has no number pad.

It has all of the basic features of a mechanical keyboard such as 100% anti-ghosting, N-key rollover, RGB lighting, and mechanical switches.

The board comes with outemu blue box switches which reduces wobble in keys. Also, blue ones are the best among outemu and very close to cherry MX blues in quality.

The feature which I love the most in this keyboard is each key RGB lighting and how easy it was to change through the Razer software.

The keyboard has a good build and no flex. The top of the keyboard is made with a full metal body and the sides and the bottom is made of good quality plastic. It has some rubber padding on the backside which makes the keyboard sturdy when using.

The only downside is that the keycaps feel cheap and have some rough edges and uneven textures.

3. Redragon K551

Redragon K551 is one of the best mechanical keyboard under 3000. It is a full-size mechanical keyboard with linear red switches.

This keyboard has the Outemu red switches which are good cherry MX clones. Their travel path doesn’t have the bump used to provide tactile feedback. The smoother movement makes these switches quieter.

This keyboard is super sturdy. It has a metal base plate at the bottom but it’s surrounded by ABS plastic. No compromises in build quality here. The only downside I can think of is non-braided cable. But it is pretty thick and seems like it will last long.

The Redragon K551 has bright rainbow backlighting. Many lighting effects are preset into the keyboard that you can change via keyboard combinations. It has 19 different modes available.

Letters on the keycaps are not very visible without backlighting so if you are in a dim-lit room you need to keep the backlight on.

The keyboard comes with a full numeric keypad which helps you in office work and do calculations fast.

It has an n-key rollover with 100% anti-ghosting, so you can impress with playing keyboard keys.

You can primarily use it for gaming and since it’s red switch type, there is no tactile effect and you could easily mistype without realising.

4. Ant Esports MK3400W V2

Ant Esports MK3400W V2 is a full-size keyboard that has a number pad. It comes with 26 keys anti-ghosting function and N-key rollover.

The MK3400W has blue clicky switches, with a low-noise audible click and tactile feedback when typing or gaming.

Backlighting is not RGB. colours are fixed. But the 13 modes of lighting are very impressive. And the plus point is it keeps the pattern in memory so that you don’t need to adjust it each time you plug it.

There are also 12 dedicated media keys so you can adjust different media settings without exiting the game.

This keyboard has a metal panel on the top with the rest of the case being made from a plastic material. There is a very slight noticeable flex on the keyboard.

It comes with a braided cable so you can fold it anyways you want. This keyboard is very durable and has some water resistance.

It has double-shot-moulded ABS plastic keycaps that last through many years of use without the letters wearing down.

The Zebronic Max Plus is a full-size mechanical keyboard that comes with blue switches. Like other keyboards on this list, it has 100% anti-ghosting and N-key rollover.

The switches used in this gaming keyboard are Outemu Blue switches. They do provide nice tactile feedback when you press each switch.

It has bright LED RGB backlit keys which look so elegant. All different rows have different colour lights. You do get 9 different effects.

This whole keyboard is made with polycarbonate material. Regardless of plastic, the build didn’t seem to have a compromise on the quality of switches or feel in any way.

The Max plus keyboard has suspended and double injection keycaps. Double injection means they are very durable. It comes with an extra-strong braided USB cable.
